Visit with Nana and Pop part 1

Well, this week has been a whirlwind. On Monday (day after Easter) we got word that a very good family friend had passed away. Nana and Pop decided to fly out for the funeral and arrived late Wednesday night. (5 hours later than expected).

Thursday we went to the funeral and then that evening Nana went to miss Nancy's house and me, Daddy, Cami and Pop played the rest of the evening.

Here are Cam and Pop watching a show while they wait on Mommy and Nana to be ready to leave for the funeral.

Later that night....the living room transformed into a beauty shop. Here Pop is getting his hair done. After she was done she said "Princess Pop"

Friday, we watched the Royal Wedding. I'll have to post pics of Cami wearing a veil at a later time. Ran some errands and played inside. The wind was awful. Then Friday night, Nana and Pop watched Cam so Matt and I could go to a movie! We went and picked up my packet for my 5 K race this weekend and went to dinner and a movie. It was so fun to hang out with just my husband.

Saturday morning, it was a little cool but not too windy, so we headed toward the park. Then headed to the store and then to Chick-fil-a for lunch. We had a great time at the park and really enjoyed being outside and not sand blasted by the wind!

Cami and I will be taking Nana and Pop down to El Paso on Tuesday to help them pack up and clean out the rest of their El Paso home. We are also going down to celebrate my niece Chandra's graduation from college!
