Last Florida Post

Well, the last few days in Florida were pretty laid back.  Cami worked  on a project with my mom and baked with Pop.  We went to church on Sunday and went shopping on Monday.  Overall we just spent time with nana and pop.
Here are the girls all dressed up for church.  I can't resist putting them in matching outfits !

After church we went to Chipotle for lunch and sat out on the patio.  It was bright so Cam wanted to wear my sunglasses, so here is our movie star!
Baking cookies with Pop, but more importantly making memories!

They turned out delicious!
Pretty girl Reese

My mom bought these garden stone kits for the girls to make.  They are pretty cute.  She is going to put them in her herb garden.  It was a great project for Cami because she got to work on it a little each day.  I didn't get any pictures of the girls putting their hands and feet in the plaster as I was assisting in the process.

I think it turned out pretty cool
Monday we met my Aunt BJ at the mall and went shopping.  While Nana and Aunt BJ shopped in Macy's for their upcoming trip to Aruba, Cami got to ride the train!

The girls waiting and stretching out at the airport!  We had a great trip.  Thanks to Nana and Pop for spoiling us as usual.  We love you guys.

PS....both kids did great on the plan....oh and I survived too! :)

First half of the week

This is the random post of the first half of our week in Florida...excluding our trips to the beach.  Aside from the beach we really didn't do very much besides just hang out.  I figured I would share some pictures of Tuesday thru Friday of that week.
Nana has a great big farmhouse style sink in their kitchen.  Perfect for bathing Reese girl!

Pop getting some love from Reese

After the beach one day we tried out a new restaurant called 'Boondocks'.   It was right on the Halifax river and attached to docks & a marina.  The food was great,  I mean really really good!  The staff was so friendly and gave Cami a coloring book to use while we were there.

After we had eaten the staff brought out a basket of french fries for Cami to go and feed the catfish.

The catfish were huge...probably from a steady diet of old french fries!

Aunt Crista and Cami making some kind of grape and jello concoction.  I never got to taste it, but I think she had fun making it.

Pop and Reese waiting around for the rest of us to get ready.  On Friday we drove to Oviedo where my aunt and uncle live and spent the afternoon and evening with them.

Nana and Cam swimming in Aunt BJ & Uncle Jeff's pool

Love this picture of Reese.  Aunt BJ had a pack n play set up for her.  So I put one of her toys in there with her and it has a mirror on it.  So here she is smiling at the baby in the mirror!

I am going to try and get the last of the pictures from FL posted today.  I don't want to get too far behind on blogging!  We had a great memorial day weekend, hope to post pictures soon.

The Beach

We had a great time on our trip to Florida.  It was really nice to spend quality time with my parents, especially my dad.  For those of you who don't know, my dad has cancer and stopped treatment about a year ago.  His tumor is growing rapidly and things seem to beginning to decline more rapidly than before.  Matt and I decided that we needed to take every opportunity to spend time with him while he is well still.

So we used our southwest airlines rewards and the girls and I flew out there.  We were there 8 days.  The weather was pretty good for our trip.  We went to the beach 3 days, so instead of me trying to keep the beach trips separate, I decided to post on beach post...so here we go.
this is Cami's 3rd visit where we have gone to the beach.  She loves it!  She loves anytime she gets to be in the water.

My girls and I at the Daytona Beach Shores.

The shelter worked out perfectly.  I got this when Cami was a baby, but never really used it.  It folds up and fit in my suitcase.  Needless to say it was perfect for our sweet Reese to hang out in and stay protected from the sun but not miss out on all the beach fun!

I had a hard time getting a picture of Cami's face she was so busy running and playing.  This is one of the few good ones!

Needless to say Cami and I came home with nice little tans.  The ocean was lovely and the weather was great.  We had a great time and it certainly was a special treat.

Cami

Well with all the hub bub of moving I haven't had much time to reflect on the fact that I now have a three year old!  WHAT! How in the world did this happen???

Well, I can honestly say that I am the luckiest mommy in the world to have Cam as my kiddo.  She is seriously the sweetest, most compassionate, smart , funny and beautiful girl in the world.  We just got back from our trip to FL and I am still working on getting those pictures organized, so in the meantime I thought I would have a Cami post.

I can't believe that I have been a mommy for three years already.  I definitely feel like it was just yesterday and I still have much to learn.  Matt and I are so thankful that God gave us this little girl to grow, nurture and raise, we are so blessed!
