Well, as many of you know this time of year is VERY busy for Matt. This past weekend he was running the KC Am, which meant 4 12-14 hour days. So my wonderful hunny suggested that me and the girlies head to Holton to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa. Things are here have been a bit stressful. I was sick the 3-4 days prior to leaving, Reese and I have been fighting Thrush and my dad who has cancer is failing quickly and we decided that the girls and I will go out in a couple weeks. Not to mention that having an active 3 year old and a 4 month old is busy in and of itself.
Anyway, my perceptive husband knew I needed a little break. My wonderful in-laws also gave me a pedicure gift certificate to my favorite little salon in their town, so this was a good way for me to use that up too!

A trip to Grandma's would not be complete without some crafting. I don't want to give too much away as we made some special presents for some out of town family.
